We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Finance professional to join the Business Performance Team of the Tech Unit Products. The strategically thinking, data-driven and business-minded Finance Business Partner will be assigned to shaping and scaling the hardware and software product lines at our Automation portfolio unit

Location: This position will be in Zug, Switzerland
The Role
- As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for several global Product Lines comprising hardware and software portfolios within the Portfolio Unit Automation of SI B PRO
- Together with the Product Line Heads you lead product management and development activities of the related portfolios and collaborate closely with stakeholders in manufacturing, procurement, logistics, controlling, sales, legal and governance functions to meet ambitious financial targets
- You are a member of the leadership team of the Automation portfolio unit, consisting of the global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) organization
- You play a key role in defining portfolio strategies and ensure that they are based on solid financial plans and underpinned by clear measures, for growth and profitability
- You act as investor's advocate by protecting company assets, maximizing capital efficiency and driving sustainable value creation
- You shape and drive finance initiatives within the Business Performance team, leading special projects to foster business improvements and process efficiency
Your new responsibilities
You are responsible for all financial and commercial activities, comprising of the following aspects:
- Co-creation of well-founded business cases supporting the portfolio strategies and considering R&D investment, manufacturing capex and go-to-market investments
- Portfolio performance analysis based on diverse PLM KPIs and derivation of data-driven recommendations
- Portfolio performance optimization in respect of pricing, cost, growth orientation and focus
- Identification of profitability levers and tracking of measures
- Strategic Revenue and profitability planning to provide a clear financial frame for portfolio development
- Validation of demand planning as input to Supply Chain Management, decision on last-time-buys, effective contract and claim management
- Setting up and maintaining compliant value flows in a complex global organization; ensuring correctness of books and records
Your talents and experience
- Master’s degree in business administration, Economics or a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and academic degree
- Around 10 years’ work experience in Controlling or business-facing finance functions; PLM, R&D or Sales is an advantage
- Proficient use of MS-Office, BI tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, PowerBI) and SAP (FI/CO)
- Keen entrepreneurial spirit, customer-oriented thinking and diverse leadership skills
- Experience in an international environment, preferably in manufacturing and/or software industry
- Experience in planning and implementing initiatives to improve processes and business outcomes
- Strong communicator, collaborative team player, ambitious mindset
- Curious, proactive, and analytical personality
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German would be a plus
