Fire Systems
Our department Fire Systems develops fire safety products, from the fire detector to the control panel up to the cloud service – in dedicated teams, with passion and conviction. Annually we produce millions of high-quality fire detectors in our modern on-site factory in Zug as well as abroad.
Our digital offerings integrate with our Building X cloud ecosystem as well as with our fire control systems and intelligent peripherals.
The digital offerings team defines the software architecture for our cloud-based systems. We also support the software development process and the build pipelines. We collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, release managers and other stakeholders in Zug and abroad.
Our state-of-the-art fire alarm services provide people and equipment around the world with 24-hour protection against fire damage – in line with our motto “We make the world a safer place”.

Your new responsibilities
- Cybersecurity expert for the cloud and mobile software of our fire safety product portfolio
- Elaboration and enforcement of the protection concept for our cloud based products and services
- Execution of threat and risk analyses
- Vulnerability handling
- Continuous improvement and automatization of our build pipelines
- Mentoring of developers
- Contributions to the software architecture and to communities of practice
- Organization of pen tests and appropriate mitigations
- Regular updates of cybersecurity guidelines
Your talents and experience
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field
- Several years of experience in relevant technical fields with a focus on cybersecurity
- Familiar with cloud technologies, e.g. aws, Terraform, Golang
- Experience with mobile apps (angular, capacitor and cross platform development)
- Proficient with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab / GitHub)
- Knowledge of applicable standards, norms and legislations (IEC 62443, CRA, etc.)
- Full stack development, quick comprehension, and a willingness to continuously learn
- Reliability, dedicated mentality, a structured working style, and a strong sense of ownership; appreciation for intercultural teamwork within a global company
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage
