The role As part of a team, you will design & implement versatile customer projects in the web and enterprise environment that are tailored to customer needs using modern, agile project methods. The Role We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist (80-100%) to support our Payroll team in Switzerland. Y ou take on a central role in the team and, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the payroll accounting of around 700 employees. Ho w you’ll make impact You are responsible for all payroll processing, including posting and account reconciliation. You provide active support with the annual financial statements and are a point of contact for our employees' payroll and social security-related questions. You further develop payroll reports and HR key figures and ensure high data quality in Workday and SAP. You coordinate cooperation with social insurance companies, authorities and external partners. Whether joining or leaving the company, contract changes, withholding tax or family allowances, you provide reliable support to employees and managers throughout the entire employee life cycle in all HR administration and employment law matters. You will process sickness and accident reports, invoice daily allowances correctly and ensure that deadlines are met. Your varied position will also involve working in HR controlling and reporting. You will work closely with our Center of Excellence in Germany and be actively involved in national and global People Operations projects. You will bring your experience to bear and make an active contribution to the professionalization and digitalization of our payroll processes. What is important to us You have specialist training in the payroll area (e.g. Payroll Specialist) and a federal HR certificate with a commercial background. You have sound experience in payroll accounting - including annual financial statements, audits and social security accounting. You have a sound knowledge of labor law issues, social insurance and occupational benefits and are experienced in dealing with HR key figures and salary reporting. You are confident in working with auditors, insurance companies and authorities and have an affinity for figures, systems and processes - coupled with a structured and reliable way of working. The role For our teams at major players in the financial industry in Switzerland, we are looking for experienced Java Fullstack Engineers. As part of our teams, you will develop, operate and maintain customer applications in the web and enterprise environment. With your Dev-Ops mentality, help supporting the entire software lifecycle from building new features to the operational and preventive maintenance of the applications. With testability, observability, and thoughtful abstractions of your code, you assure long-term quality and system resilience. Continuously keep up to date with the latest technologies & trends and share your knowledge with our teams and customers. Balance new technologies with the broad spectrum of existing ones and make sound decisions to ensure long-term stability and maintainability. What’s important to us Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not mandatory. You have a Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. You have five or more years of proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and best practices. You are an excellent communicator, team player and problem solver and are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level). You put the customer first and support the project’s success as a Java Fullstack Engineer with the latest JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as Angular. Knowing Vaadin is a plus. You bring expertise with many different technologies, such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs and tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, Ansible, Gitlab and hosting on Windows-Platforms. Knowledge of messaging frameworks, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift) , microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus. You approach architecture and implementation with careful planning. You are driven by engineering excellence and take pride in crafting robust, maintainable software. You hold yourself to high standards in delivering systems that are reliable, well-tested, and built to last.
