Your Main Responsibilities Your duties include the care of both outpatient and inpatient patients across the entire spectrum of radiation oncology. Patient care is organized vertically, from determining the indication in tumor boards to follow-up care, provided by sub-specialized teams of senior physicians and resident doctors. You will represent radiation oncology in an interdisciplinary manner within tumor boards, teaching, and further education. You will actively participate in the implementation of new technologies and radiation oncology methods, as well as their clinical and scientific evaluation. You will independently manage, develop, and represent your subspecialty within the USZ, both nationally and internationally. Your profile You have completed training as a specialist in radiation oncology (Swiss FMH specialist title in radiation oncology or an internationally recognized equivalent specialist title from the EU). You are fluent in both spoken and written German (C1 level). You have a strong interest in scientific work and experience in precision radiotherapy, ideally in the area of prostate cancer, or alternatively head and neck tumors or lung cancer. You are a flexible, team-oriented, and resilient individual, willing to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, participate in teaching, and are interested in continuing education, research, and quality assurance.
