Private Equity IMPACT and ESG Specialist
Job Information
The specialist for impact and ESG is a position that combines private market investments with impact and ESG assessments. The main focus area of the activities is on impact analyses and impact measurement within private equity. The specialist will be a member of the Impact and ESG team for Private Markets.
- Undertake and perform impact analyses on private equity investment opportunities (co-investments and managers) for our impact investment programs;
- Work closely with private equity investment teams on impact investments with a focus on the impact thesis, impact measurement and impact management;
- Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting on impact and ESG;
- Support client interactions with additional impact analyses and presentations;
- Advancing impact/ESG data collection, monitoring systems, and reporting frameworks;
- Interact with industry associations such as the PRI, GIIN, EMPEA, and IIGCC.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in sustainability, (environmental) finance, mathematics or comparable technical studies;
- Proven experience in Impact, ESG and Sustainability with 2-3 years relevant work experience;
- Proven experience in project management and data analysis;
- Excellent computer skills (programming skills preferred);
- Fluency in English and German, both spoken and in writing (additional languages preferred);
- Strong communication and presentation skills (spoken and written);
- Naturally takes ownership and adheres to deadlines;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
