For this research project, we are looking for a highly motivated PostDoc with a strong background in ceramic processing and characterization of porous and dense materials for energy related applications. Your Tasks: Explore and develop doped ceramic materials for energy related applicationsDevelop tape casting and/or other ceramic processing methods for LiNiMnO materialsInvestigation of grain orientation effects during processingKnowledge in debinding and sinter kinetics of ceramic materials is beneficial
Your Profile:You have a PhD in chemistry, materials science, or mechanical engineering, or a similar field. Previous experience with one or more of the following topics is required: ceramic processing, grain orientation, kinetic modelling, and characterization methods on porous conductive materials. The experimental nature of the work requires very high level of experimental skills, analytical mindset for interpreting results and the ability to design innovative experiments. You are a team player and your strengths include taking personal responsibility, excellence and flexibility to work and deliver results. Knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory.
