Your main tasks
The Center on Aging and Moblity is currently launching an ambitious interdisciplinary and international Aging Lab "Delay Biological Aging and Extend Health" taking advantage of the DO-HEALTH data and biobank, in collaboration with the DO-HEALTH Science Network at Harvard School of Public Health and the DO-HEALTH European Network. The program aims at predicting biological age acceleration early, by molecular profiles combined with comprehensive clinical and life-style information, and thereby identify interventions to delay biological aging. This would enable clinicians to transform prevention into precision medicine allowing more adults to stay active and healthy longer.
Future candidates should have a doctoral degree in epidemiology or biostatistics in the field of aging and or nutrition. They should be fluent in English, able to program analyses in the SAS statistical language, and collaborate within an interprofessional team of MDs, PhDs, Doctoral Students, Movement Scientists, Nutrition Experts, Nurse Scientists and a clinical trial team. Candidates are expected to support doctoral students and master students, collaborate on analyses and grant writing efforts with the international DO-HEALTH Science Network and will have the possibility to write own research grants to pursue their own research agenda in aging research.
