Your program’s highlights
Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank’s work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months
Academic requirements: Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences
Your field of responsibility
You are part of a team advising wealthy private clients on investing and trading across all asset classes. You are responsible for analyzing market trends, monitoring the Investment Committee decisions and delivering the available solutions to the team and relationship managers, bringing a vast array of ideas, choices and resources spanning the risk-return spectrum (equities, fixed income, funds, derivatives, forex, hedge funds, private equity and structured products). Furthermore, you support the senior team members with the monitoring of client portfolios and the preparation of investment proposals and portfolio reviews. This Internship will allow you to continue developing your strong financial knowledge and build a network of colleagues both inside and outside of Credit Suisse that will strengthen your career throughout your professional life.

Your qualifications and skills
- Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or are currently enrolled on a master’s program
- Passion for capital markets, ideally trading or investing personally as well as eagerness to learn and contribute
- A strong academic record and a keen interest in financial markets.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, loyalty and are always willing to help
- Fluency in English and in German; any other language would be an advantage
- A highly motivated, flexible can-do attitude and are a team player
- Good analytical skills and are quick to grasp the bigger picture
