General Counsel Software Engineer and Application Developer #212224
Your responsibilities as Software Engineer in this new and exciting role include setting up, maintaining, and upgrading our on-premises project infrastructure in Zurich for a variety of General Counsel (Legal) Technology systems. It involves working on Credit Suisse’s proprietary JAP (Java Application Platform) and its toolchain for application development, deployment, design, and development of Webservice APIs for applications and facilitate integration with third party applications. Other responsibilities include internal and external stakeholder management, resolve technical queries by users and production support staff.

General Counsel Technologies (GC Tech) area of Credit Suisse provides technology solutions to all the lawyers and paralegals in the firm across many divisions and corporate functions. It is a global team of about 50 team members with staff in North America, Asia, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. GC Tech is part of a broader IT organization. We are very diverse, professional, and open to new ideas. Our leadership team has 7 individuals all with over 20 years of experience in the industry and at least 5 years in Legal Technologies. Our primary focus is to deliver technology solutions and maintain stable production platforms.
