Financial Messaging Engineer #184664
An engineering position in the bank’s central financial messaging IT team. We are responsible for architecting, engineering and supporting the bank’s major electronic channels to the global financial services market. Our team is a key enabler for the bank’s operations function and is servicing divisions and branches across the world.
An opportunity to own and develop highly resilient and performing financial messaging services putting the bank in a position to access counterparties and financial market infrastructures on a 24/7 basis and to stay abreast of new developments like instant payments, blockchain technology or new messaging standards and protocols. You will closely work with internal IT infrastructure providers and external software vendors on negotiating, agreeing on and implementing solutions. You will be the accountable IT owner of those solutions and be part of their 3rd line support team
