Intern Cargo Quality and Process Management
The international team Quality and Process management is embedded in SWISS WorldCargo, the Cargo Division of Swiss International Air Lines. The Team includes Process Management, Strategic Operational and Supplier Development on a local and global level as well as Quality Management.
The team is responsible for translating regulatory requirements, customer requirements and procedural changes into day-to-day business language and process ensuring that they are incorporated seamlessly into the existing SWISS WorldCargo processes landscape and that they are implemented on the local stations around the globe and with our third party handling suppliers. A strong focus is on safety and authority relevant processes as well as processes which support the Vertical Industry Managements Pharma, Valuables and Airmail and their strategic projects.
The processes are consequently designed in line with quality measurements and KPIs which are then monitored, analysed and, if needed, improvement measures are set-up.
The intern maintains, designs and implements existing and new processes and ensures that the information is adopted (alignment of processes and IT). About 40% of the job is project management and 60% are daily tasks. Further you will be able to get an insight on different projects within SWISS WorldCargo and on the management of these projects. Some projects you will be able to support and work on in cooperation with worldwide stations. The intern interfaces with different Cargo departments on a global level, with LH Group partners, other SWISS entities and third party suppliers around the world.
