Sales Executive Cargo Switzerland
Swiss WorldCargo is the cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. Our sales and marketing strategy is focusing on high-added-value commodities and intensive care oriented service solutions. Swiss WorldCargo offers a wide airfreight network with over 120 destinations in more than 80 countries. This job opportunity has a strategic function within the Cargo sales organization and home market Switzerland with main interfaces to the forwarding industry.We are looking for a new team member with good negotiation skills and strong ability to convince. You will take care of the customer portfolio targeting specialized forwarding agents focusing on the special airfreight transportation needs of the local Swiss industry; such as health care, precious metal bullion, machinery and banks trading currencies - just to mention few of them. As a team member within a lean sales organization, we aim to use utmost synergies and be utmost productive, we count on your reliability, flexibility and willingness to listen, share information, share new ideas and go the extra mile. The working environment is extreme dynamic and therefore you will have a very important role to anticipate changes by analyzing development and trends in order to be able to ensure or increase current business and create added-value solutions for our customers. You will use your analytical skills to monitor the quality of the flows in order to set pro-active corrective and prevention actions together with the local customer service center and indoor sales team whenever needed. You will find an open company culture fostering creativity and energy to define marketing promotions and other sales measures together with the local team members or in project work.Besides having contact to direct customers of the forwarding and shipping industry in the region of Zurich, Berne, St. Gallen and Vorarlberg, you will use your language skills on a daily basis to communicate to interfaces such as internal departments, stations abroad, suppliers and other team members located in Geneva and Basel.
- Degree in Business Administration
- Proven, successful experience in sales activity
- Very good language skills English (spoken and written)
- Impeccable customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good MS office user knowledge
- Work effectively with others and be a team-oriented person
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Solution oriented thinker and ability to master difficult and challenging situations
- Resistant to stress, high degree of flexibility and loyal
