PhD position on Spectrochemistry using Plasma Radiation

Upon application, you can prove to be a fully motivated experimentalist with a recent MSc degree in optics or spectroscopy. You can prove hands-on creative skills with experimental setups. Excellent degree in English in spoken and written is mandatory. Fluence in German is preferred. Skills with signal processing, Labview programming, laser monitoring, and spectroscopy design are appreciated.
Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The start date is upon mutual agreement, as the position is already available. The appointment is initially for one year, with extension up to 4 years. The PhD degree is obtained at the University of Zurich, Graduate School for Chemical and Molecular Science. A teaching commitment at the University is expected.
