HR Professional 80-100% (f/m)

As part of the development of a global headquarter in Lucerne, you will ensure professional HR processes and be the first point of contact for all HR matters.

Our client, a global Japanese corporation, has developed into one of the most prominent companies in the development, production and distribution of a very wide range of dental products. Famed for its pioneering work, it has successfully embraced innovation, quality and service for some 100 years now.

On its behalf, we are looking for a personally and professionally qualified person for the newly created job as an

HR Professional 80-100% 

Main responsibilities:

  • Responding to and initiating inquiries from employees related to general HR administrative queries (internal policies, processes and updating personal information)
  • Managing the entire life cycle of employees from on-boarding, internal transfers and off-boarding
  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
  • Expat and relocation management
  • Data changes such as reporting line changes, creating job profiles, onboarding/mover/offboarding process
  • Managing the company's time and attendance tool
  • Supporting the external HR payroll provider with administrative tasks as part of the monthly payroll process
  • Managing employee absences
  • Any other HR administrative tasks as appropriate to the role
  • Ensuring HR internal processes are up–to-date and reflect the business strategy and needs, such as:
    Digitalisation of personnel documentation and processes
    Reviewing and updating of templates and policies

We expect you to have ideally completed commercial and higher education in HR (eidg. FA HR Fachfrau/Fachmann, Personalfachfrau) and have at least 5-6 years of experience within an HR department in an international environment – ideally you also possess knowledge of Japanese culture. You are used to working independently and in a small team, have optimal organisation skills, and are result and solution-oriented. You are able to set priorities and have a straightforward and pragmatic approach to matters. Your strengths include intercultural and social skills. A good command of written and spoken German and English is required as well as sound MS-Office skills.
